| | Fuel Surcharge - road transport For a long time now the transport industry has been faced with the problem of steadily rising fuel prices that from January 2004 until December 2005 were near 43%.
The related rise in the price of diesel fuel has serious effects on Chronopost Portugal, and therefore we have to charge a diesel surcharge on our transport prices since January 2006. This surcharge is variable, since the prices may differ each month. This surcharge is based on the kerosene?s (Roltterdam ARA) price for the 1st day of each month, in USD cents, and the information will be available on the website for the Energy Information Administration: http://www.eia.doe.gov/oil_gas/petroleum/data_publications/weekly_petroleum_status_report/wpsr.html.
